Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week 2021

11 May 2021 - 13 May 2021
Online

Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Climate Week 2021 will bring together representatives from the public and private sectors to exchange ideas and identify synergies in discussions, meetings and exhibitions on a diverse set of themes related to climate action and sustainable development.

Originally scheduled to take place in 2020, the year when countries are expected to increase the ambition of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement on climate change, the event, hosted by the Government of the Dominican Republic, will seek to facilitate NDC implementation and help deliver on the SDGs. Among other goals, the event will seek to strengthen resilience to climate change at the regional level, especially in the Caribbean island States.
