This course organized by the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) and the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) at the University of Sussex aims at providing insights on how Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) approaches interact with a changing climate and with development trends. The programme includes socio-political aspects such as gender, participation and integration of local community experiences. The course is designed to accommodate interests of participants from NGOs, public authorities, international organisations and of individuals otherwise involved in the field of DRR.
