Extreme weather and resilience of the global food system

This report by the UK-US Taskforce on Extreme Weather and Global Food System Resilience highlights an increasing risk to global food production represented by extreme weather events such as heatwaves, droughts and floods.

It recommends, among other, internationally coordinated risk management, developing better methods to predict the effects of production shocks on food markets, and an increased collaboration of actors to adapt agriculture to climate change.
